Show love to the Mother - rescue a seedling and re-plant it in a safe location. Here is an orphan whom I rescued from an arboricidal slaughter. He's growing up so well. (By the way, clicking the photo will reveal individual grains of sand in the soil. I took a mighty fine photo here.)
